If you face power cuts or want to use solar energy at night, choose a hybrid inverter with a lithium battery. If your grid supply is reliable and your goal is the lowest bill through net-metering, an on-grid inverter gives the best return. Share your bill and we'll recommend the right one.
Are GST and installation included in the prices?
Prices on this website are per unit and exclude GST, which is added on your invoice: 5% on inverters and 18% on lithium batteries. For example ₹83,499 + 5% GST = ₹87,674, and ₹98,000 + 18% GST = ₹1,15,640. Solar panels, mounting structure, wiring and installation are quoted separately based on your site.
How many batteries do I need?
It depends on what you want to run during a power cut and for how long. Running about 1 kW of essential loads (fans, lights, fridge, Wi-Fi) for 4 hours needs roughly 4.7 kWh of battery capacity — one 5.12 kWh Deye SE-F5 battery. Try the calculator above or send us your load list.
Can I add more batteries later?
Yes. Deye low-voltage lithium batteries are modular — you can add identical units in parallel as your needs grow (up to 32–64 units, depending on the model). For best results, expand with the same battery model.
Will a Deye hybrid work with my existing battery?
Deye 48 V hybrids work with lead-acid and lithium batteries. For lithium, the battery's BMS should be on Deye's approved battery list so the inverter and battery can communicate over CAN/RS485. Deye's own batteries are on that list. Ask us before you buy.
Can I monitor the system on my phone?
Yes. With a Deye Wi-Fi data logger plugged into the inverter you can see solar generation, battery level and consumption live on the Deye Cloud app (older loggers use SOLARMAN Smart). The logger is optional on some models — we'll confirm whether it's included in your order.
Can I get a government subsidy?
Homes with a grid-connected rooftop system can get central financial assistance under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana — ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW, up to ₹78,000 (higher in special-category states). The subsidy is calculated on DCR solar-panel capacity, the system must be installed by a registered vendor through pmsuryaghar.gov.in, and batteries are not subsidised. Ask us to check your eligibility.
What about warranty?
Every Deye inverter and battery carries the manufacturer's warranty — Deye states 5 years as standard for inverters (longer in some countries), and battery terms vary by model. We confirm the exact period on your invoice and help you with registration and claims. Deye also runs an India service centre in Pune.
